Through the years, Jen and Keith found themselves waiting. Each waited very patiently to find the one person with whom they faithfully trusted God intended for them to share life. When they finally met (and until they married), Jen lived in Texas and Keith lived alllll the way in South Carolina. Some would have been discouraged to know that the person that (finally) met their heart’s fancy was living states away. Jen and Keith just knew it was a matter of faith and maybe just meant waiting a teensy bit longer until they would be married. God would work it out; …and He did!
In early October, their long-awaited ceremony melted the heart of each witness, and it was a true testimony. Jen and Keith wrote every detail of the ceremony not only to share their interesting story of courtship but ultimately to bring glory to the Lord who brought them to one another. A theme knit the vows, prayers, and songs of the ceremony together to articulate that sometimes waiting is not the mere annoyance we perceive it to be but is rather a critical component in the molding of a healthy soul. [Oh, Jen! You two are so darn wise!!] ;) I’d say Jen is wise to this point for sure. In fact, just recently when we were discussing the timeline for viewing her wedding photos online, her reply was, “Please don’t rush at all! Good things come to those who wait!” Sweet Jen!
The boys never get quite the same access to mirrors as the girls on the wedding day! Mike captured this one (I think partially to show the injustice!) ;)
Jen is the most punctual person in all the land, but she still took a deep breath and time to hug her sweet mom despite the ticking clock!
Jen and Keith opted to see one another before the ceremony to calm nerves, pray, and take photos (Yay!). Jen was so nervous before the big entrance!
Prince charming!
Jen and Keith's cake was amazing in both design and sentimentality. These ornate sugar flowers had been preserved from Jen's mother's wedding cake and proudly sat--restored--atop Jen's beautiful cake all these years later.
Jen and Keith (kissing on the mouth)! ;)
Parade of photos of adorable kids following!!
Look at this sweet one Mike shot...It's one of my favorites!
Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Lennon!!
