BJ and Louisa: Husband and Wife

The day began and ended with huge smiles from the bride and groom despite the fact that the rain presented a bit of a challenge.  Though the rain unfortunately played havoc with our plans for some fun outdoor photos with the wedding party downtown around First United Methodist Church, the clouds did do us a favor and parted just at the right time so that the guests could shower the newlyweds with rose petals as they exited the church before departing for reception fun at the Salt Lick. It was beautiful and so much fun! Louisa and BJ, your ceremony was such a blessing and we absolutely loved being a part of your day. Congratulations Mr. ad Mrs!
A cherished family Bible that has been displayed at all of Louisa's family's weddings.
Love this shot by Mike of the wedding rings in BJ's hands as he waited patiently for the big ring exchange.

Louisa and her adoring fans as she takes a little spin.

Of course, we absolutely love when couples see each other before the ceremony so that we can photograph some sweet moments like this one. This was their first look at each other for the day. So sweet!

Love this image Mike shot as Louisa and her father waited to meet BJ at the end of the aisle.

Another sweet tradition from Louisa's family. These antique little cake statues have been prominent on family wedding cakes through the years.

The mother-son and father-daughter dance was a hit! It was easy to see that two families with some serious dancing skills were united that day!

Look at that mischievous glimmer in Louisa's eye.

Cool garter toss action that Mike captured.

Congratulations!
