Chris and Courtney: Day After Session

Since their wedding, I have been looking forward to Chris and Courtney's Day After Session.  Not only are they so much fun to hang out with for the day, but they also have some serious camera mojo and are willing to go to any lengths for some fabulous images.  Be sure to scroll to the very bottom to see what I mean. Thanks Chris and Courtney for more fun times, and just say the word whenever you're ready for that baby session down the road. ;)

The illusion in this image makes me laugh sooooo much! I promise no one put a spell on Chris to shrink him...it's all about angle, perspective, and the lens. put them together and hilarity ensues. ;)

I loooooove this one!

That water was the coldest! Chris and Courtney were rockstars through chattering teeth.

Louisa's Bridal Session

I love my clients! Louisa is yet another tres chic, very cool and up-for-anything bride with whom I have been blessed to work and now call a friend. Upon request, I gave her several ideas as options as to the location for her bridal shoot...I'd classify them as ranging from safe to risky. Louisa would have none of the "safe," and Mike and I were stoked to shoot in a location of which we'd been dying to take advantage. We had such a blast with Louisa and her sweet, fun mom. (My clients' moms also are very cool and awfully good at sneaking, I'll add!) :)

Favorite! I think I need to get a gallery wrap of this one for display.

Mike's shot below; I love this one!

I love the framing Mike set up of Louisa in the trees!

The following two shots were taken seconds apart. I post them both primarily to show the fun difference between natural light photographs and what you can do to control the ambient light by illuminating your subject with strobes.

Louisa was showing us her skills she acquired via America's Next Top Model. :)

After we got some nature shots, we went down to a nearby farm because Louisa was also hoping for some rustic images. check!

oooh, la la!

Thanks so much for such a fun day Louisa! You're gorgeous!
