Tina and Charlie are artists. Their shared love for imaginative expressions of visual art is as apparent as a carefully stroked swath of brilliant paint on fine, stretched canvas. As I captured images of Charlie and his groomsmen preparing for the moment when he would pledge his life to Tina, Charlie would occasionally stop tying his tie or momentarily look up from buttoning his sleeves to get to what he considered to be the truly important material. He wanted to point out some of the paintings around their home and explain the significance of those paintings in his relationship with a work of art more treasured than he could have ever imagined: Tina.
The day faded into night, and after a gorgeous ceremony in the Rice University Memorial Chapel, Tina and Charlie’s guests gathered at the Museum of Natural Science for an evening filled with dining, laughter, dancing, and a touching series of toasts by their dear friends and family. The speeches concluded with a heartfelt expression given by Charlie and Tina to thank their guests for the love and support throughout the years.
Tina and Charlie are artists, and their life together and love for one another must be their greatest works of art. Their love and passion for one another has fixed them together in a way that even the greatest connoisseur of fine art must admire—the marriage of two strokes of paint on canvas, blended to the perfect hue, by the perfect brushstroke, to bring out the paramount expression of life from the other. Absolutely breathtaking.
I second shot this wedding with the fabulous Trista Lerit of Irvine, California and absolutely loved capturing every minute of such a beautiful affair with details crafted by a couple of such creative eye. Congratulations Tina and Charlie!
