Zicke Zacke, Zicke Zacke, Oi, Oi, Oi!
We heard that fun German toast cheered repeatedly from both the lively band and the adoring guests at Chris and Courtney's uber-fun, Oktoberfest themed reception/bash in New Braunfels in mid-October. Terry Cavanagh and the Alpine Express was amazing and kept both the party and the German theme rolling throughout the night with fun dance moves, cra-zy antics, and lederhosen. It was a blast, and I must say that the guests (and hosts!) were some of the best wedding dancers everrrr!! Of course, all of this fun--stellar as it was--couldn't outshine the touching ceremony that we were all blessed to have witnessed earlier in the day. Chris and Courtney had written such poignant words to one another about the life they have lived and the pledge they were making for the years to come. As they grasped the hand of the other so tightly, they spoke words so rich and genuine with the sentiment articulated through the symbolism of the hands...all that those carried in life as individuals and now as a couple, in their youth and in their old age (someone please pass me a tissue!) (I seriously wanted to ask for a copy of it so I could read it again!) You two are the best, and I can't wait for your "Day After" session!!
Mr. and Mrs.
One of my favorite shots from Mikey J! Father Daughter boogie through the line. So cute! (I think they MUST have coreographed that numba!) :)
Another of my favorites that Mike shot. He was getting this view while I was getting another! Go teamwork!
Oktoberfest essentials: check!
A little cross-process fun!
I told you, this band was willing to do anything to keep the party frenzy at maximum! "And, the Bridesmaid of the Year Award goes to...." :)
Congratulations Lovebirds!

Beautiful images Courtney! You captured so many sweet moments and love the reception shots!
Great work.. Your stuff is super clean... keep it up!
I adore the pink and purple lights bouncing off of the walls of the tent. So bright and colorful! And the picture you caught of the bride at the reception with a HUGE smile on her face is great, too. Awesome!
These are so pretty, Court! I LOVE your dance shots and the shot of just the bride through the trees . . . that one could bring tears to some eyes! :)
