Merry Christmas from Baby Micah Paul

Micah has only been in this world a few short months, but give him some time. Even though he's so little, I can tell he has plans to make a big difference! He is such a sweetheart, and an adorable bundle of cuteness!







You may remember Shawna from her bridal session awhile ago. Here she is, once again, setting the bar way too high. Can we all agree that it's rude to look this good after just delivering a baby!





I love the following two images of mommy's and daddy's hands and how these two seem to be uniquely equipped to love and care for Micah.

Micah is advanced. Below is an image taken while he was serenading us with Christmas music. "Gloooooria, Glooooooria, in Excelsis Deo!" Can you hear it?



Even though it looks like he's about to pound me, I'm really Micah's favorite. ;)


I laugh every time I look at this one. I think Mike shoots me this expression at least once a week. "Seriously? You want to take a photo right now?"

Merry Christmas from Baby Ben!

Knowing how long and how much Ben's birth had been anticipated by his sweet family, it seemed only fitting to wrap him up for a Christmas-gift theme photo. He'll forgive me one day. :) Mike and I are becoming so incredibly spoiled by getting to photograph such sweetheart babies who also happen to be posing a threat to the Gerber-baby's job security! Hugs to the cutie-pie! :)









Sometimes when you're 5 months old, you need to chew on things...


...really, whatever you have around the house will be fine.

...if all else fails, just use what you have on hand.

Daniel and Amy are Engaged!

Sometimes love takes people on a metaphorical journey, and sometimes it's also a literal, geographical journey. Daniel and Amy are two lovebirds who have lived in many different places across the world, but their lives crossed paths at just the right moment. They moved to Austin from--in Amy's case--all the way across the country and --in Daniel's case-- all the way across the ocean! When Daniel served as greeter at church one morning, he never anticipated that he'd catch the eye of his beautiful future wife. Love can truly find you no matter where you land!

Mike and I have been so blessed to get to know Amy and Daniel since they picked us to shoot their wedding, and we cannot wait until their big day next month! Their engagement session was absolutely filled with laughs, and you can tell by the way these two look at one another that their lives together will have many more fun times ahead.

Congratulations Amy and Daniel. We can't wait for your big day (next month!!)!
